Concept Statement:
Prioritizing employee well-being and productivity, this project aims to create migraine-friendly workplaces with features such as ambient lighting, a soothing color scheme, textured materials, natural daylight, views to a courtyard and wellness rooms. Wellness rooms offer adjustable lighting, calming colors, and comfortable seating. The color scheme of the office space is a warm color palette that includes earthy hues such as soft browns, beige, muted orange, and a calm green. The space will also have an organic feel, with furniture, curved walls, and natural wood that will be used for an overall relaxing feeling throughout.
Thesis Statement:
Migraines have a detrimental effect on millions of people worldwide causing significant difficulties in numerous aspects like work performance, quality of life, and emotional well-being. Using human-centric lighting, color, and wellness rooms in office environments would significantly increase the productivity and well-being of employees.
